It’s week four of fall semester, and we have spent part of two Newswriting classes tweeting our leads.
I want your feedback on using Twitter in class. Do you love it? Hate it? Do you have mixed feelings about it? Or are you still undecided?

I think twitter is a waste of time, the character limit is a limit to our own creativity, and that no one really wants to use a personal twitter account to do class related activities. Now, a collaborative email or a blog of sorts may be a better medium to post such headlines, etc.

I understand why you would rather not use your personal Twitter account for classroom work. That is why I have suggested that each student set up a free Twitter account reserved for Newswriting.
